My Home Town-Better Late Than Never!

This is one of our largest buildings in downtown Portland, the theatre front and our beautiful Mt. Hood view from the Rose Garden.

This is Portlandia. I think she's beautiful but she was designed to fit on the ledge of this building where she is very difficult to see. Once the trees blossom, forget about it. I wanted her at the waterfront as someone suggested, a sister to the Statue of Liberty, one on each coast.

Sophia

Today my sister-in-law and I got to shoot Sophia, the cutest little thing and her parents. Hope you enjoy them.

Vacation Pics

This picture of the beautiful new Rexburg, Idaho Temple was captured outside my son's apartment window from about a mile away. I loved the blue sky with the lights of the temple. 1/60s, f5.6, ISO: 400

This is Rachel, my friend's daughter. Oh, what I went through to get her to this train car. Had to hike with her through a foot deep of snow but I think it was worth it.

I loved this little cart sitting out in the snow with the old building in the background.

This snowcovered creekbed caught my eye, just outside of Rexburg, ID

My Christmas present :)

This was an exciting surprise after 31 years of marriage, I got a new
wedding ring......my other had been repaired and repaired.

Blue eyes of Mikayla....a picture of a picture.

Posted by PicasaAll these pictures have the same macro setting as above.

Surprised Faces

Before Mikayla was brave enough to jump on this horse, she examined it thoroughly. It was pretty cute. I don't have these pics in order but you'll get the idea.

I think Amber's excited and Mikayla's bored :)

Brent got framed collages of his two trathlons.
He was pretty jazzed about that.

It took Mikayla a few minutes to figure out
what to do with this horsey.
