I may still be trying to figure out this challenge. As I read through the link, I got the impression that it means you are either surrounded by a dark image as the photo of dad and daughters or you take a picture of something and your eye is drawn to other things in the picture (as in the tulips...tree)?????? Help me out here gals.

Great photos, love the colors...I've been studying on this photo challenge most of the day and it was hard to understand but I think it means to have more space around the subject so your eyes are drawn to the subject and not distracted by other things...lol...did that make sense? I did a google search on Negative space and Minimalism and found a few more sites and read up on it...
I think Wendy is right.But thiese shot are still beautiful shots.
Yeah, Kathi, I'm trying real hard to understand this challenge too. Lynn posted what the experts say..."Positive space is the area of the photo you want your viewer to concentrate on. Negative space is everything else." I love that this challenge is stretching us! I'd comment on your photos, but I'm learning right along with you.
