More B&W's

Sorry everyone but this was a great day for our family. Our son, Doug graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese. I made the pictures B&W so I could share the day with you. You'll see Doug, his wife Amber and of course, our granddaughter Mikayla. Hope I don't bore you to death but this B&W challenge frees me up to bring in everything !

CONGRATULATIONS!! Don't be emabarassed about sharing your good news and joyful heart with us, Kathi -- there's nothing wrong with a parent taking pride in our children and their accomplishments :)!

Great pics, too, by the way -- they have a dreamy quality to them, a softness that complements your family.

Congratualations to your son and his family for hanging in there. Wonderful pictures and they seem more classic because of using b/w.

LOVE them!!! Kathi, you and dh should be so proud and Doug too! Not an easy task to have a family (to care for and spend time with), work and finish school! Your photography captures the joy and accomplishment.

Big congrats! Beautiful soft focus editing on these...it reminds me of rubbing k/y on the lens before I had photoshop to work with. I can tell you put some love into these!
